My experience at Textron Inc is wonderful. My experience at a Textron BU was horrific. The Textron Inc values and lack of tolerance for bad leadership needs to extend to the BUs. We will be stronger and more agile, successful, productive, and profitable if we require greater alignment with Textron.

My leadership team is inspirational, personally as well as professionally. My leadership team cares about people all around them, not just those above them. My leadership team knows its people, strives to connect personally. My leadership team is honorable, 100% of the time. I respect my leaders.

While I was recently promoted and my comp did not change, I know my leaders did not purposefully slight me. I understand that our comp team purposefully does not consider pay in the marketplace, only pay within the company. This policy makes no sense, especially in today's labor market.

I am respected for my experience, judgement, talent, perspective, and contributions. I am invited to join projects and my contributions are valued. I have an opportunity to learn from the best in the business and I get to apply those lessons. My diversity of thought and experience are sought after.

We care, respect, and seek out one another. We are not a clique. We are authentic and genuine with each other at all levels of the team. We are very cohesive and compassionate. It's the first team I've experienced at Textron that has each other's back. This team lives up to my expectations.
