Making decisions that will benefit the company in the long run and not focusing on short-term gains.

Textron is very short sighted. They need to think long term and take actions accordingly.Executive team has been there for ages & no ideas.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
stock options are very generous, benefits are very good

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compared to the amount of student loans I accrued to get to where I am, my compensation does not even come close to where it should be. Benefits are lacking, especially with the lack of pension and death of social security in the future.

very engaged, care about the success of the projects and organization. are not overly political

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Most middle-aged employees were laid off, so the gap between experienced professionals and new hires is extremely noticeable. This company will crash if they keep forcing out experienced professionals and refusing to hire outside talent.

everyone is ready to socialize and help with school work

was straightforward, questions were related to my area of study and where I wanted to work @ TEXTRON, got an answer and an offer quickly!

The slow pace of work and depressing, prison-like environment make this not a fun place to work.
