IBM does not support women's initiatives. IBM explicity excluded from announcing any statement other than a 1-paragraph, "everyone has their own opinion" after the SCOTUS Dobbs decision was announced. Women were silenced in slack channels for sharing ways to help with Dobbs-related rights.

Having consistent messaging. Communicate company goals and strategies so their people can map their goals to them. Try to experience the reality of what your people are experiencing with the legacy tools you insist they utilize while our customers are decades ahead in their technology (Lotus notes?)

I've been waiting years for a raise. there were a full 15 years of no raise. After the changeover to the euro the purchasing power has halved and I have worked hard to have an adjustment. Eventually a manager took pity on me and gave me a minimal raise

Act on the various surveys and AskMeAnything sessions. Make sure everybody gets a fair chance to work on the interesting tasks, listen to the experienced team members, Evaluate PM's, they are being allowed to make the same mistakes again again, and don't listen to the experienced voice.

IBM used to be famous and known for the flexibility it provides its employees but lately, that is not seen, especially in some projects. Micromanagement, objection on taking leave, forcing to go to office even though when going to office takes 5-6 hours of your day and eats up the productivity.
