I used to love working at VIPKid when they were a new and relatively small company, but as they've grown and gained stature in the corporate world they've become increasingly greedy and this has manifest by the way they've come to treat their employees as completely expendable commodities.

The students are, for the most part, pretty well behaved and can be a lot of fun to work with.

I feel very undervalued. Leadership constantly cuts employee compensation and expects employees to take it with a smile on their face.

The interviewers are often people who haven't taught classes in a very long time. Sometimes they aren't even familiar with basic company policies. Despite a lengthy interview process it really doesn't prepare you very well to teach -- a common complaint among many of my co-workers.

The more the company grows and the more it becomes worth, the more they treat their employees as if they are expendable. I've worked for the company for four years and rather than receive raises as the company has grown, employees as a whole have seen a steady stream of pay and benefit cuts.
