Wawa is very involved in the community and provides great quality service beyond it's food and gas. Being involved in their community service is amazing.

Qu’est-ce qui vous rend le plus heureux au travail?

A challenge. When you're given an extensive list of things to do and you complete them? It's the most amazing feeling especially if you know people don't expect you to do it all.

De quoi l’équipe de direction a-t-elle besoin pour s’améliorer?

There needs to be diversity, sensitivity and harassment training. If already offered, it needs to be extensive and in-depth. The issues surrounding people of color working for this company is so passive-aggressive that it makes it even worst when you realize it.

Qu’est-ce que vos collègues doivent améliorer et comment pouvez-vous mieux travailler ensemble?

Workplace harassment is a major issue because, each shift blames each other for their own problems. Overnight is the most disrespected shift between 1st and 2nd and managers allows it's staff on 1st and 2nd to belittle staff on overnights. It's a widespread issue - not just isolated to one store.

Pourquoi vous sentez-vous sous-évalué et qu’est-ce qui vous rassurerait par rapport à votre rémunération?

Compensation is unfair among staff. When you realize that your General Manager has started your white co-worker at a higher rate of pay with less experience than a person of color with related experience - it's not just you but the whole staff who are colored or ethnic. Not just at 1 store location.
