they listen to the workers, upper management not as much. I work with a lead that has made my work environment very hostile because of the way she acts when she gets told she is in the wrong or if you have an opinion that differs than hers.

Management team overlooks more qualified individuals and pays them less than new hires. There is no consideration when it comes to others needing to delegate their income to benefits.

I feel undervalued because Wawa puts profits before fair employee labor practices. I would feel better about compensation if Wawa would pay a percentage of profits to their employees in addition to an hourly wage.

Team is such a strong word. Team usually implies working together to accomplish the mission. At this store it's all about do what the leaders say when they say do it. The environment is no conducive to team growth nor taking initiative to benefit the team as whole.
