The leadership at my brand is awesome because they allow for lots of visibility and responsibility, regardless of what level you are at. I have had the chance to present many things to my Brand President, even as an entry-level employee.
Working for a beauty company makes me so passionate about the product! For me, being able to touch/use the product makes me excited to keep working on the campaigns and feel like we are actually making a difference to consumers all over the world!
People at my brand and team want to help each other. What is most positive is that there is a level of understanding, work life balance, and strong relationships that make the work fun and interesting, and make me look forward to working every day.
I liked that the interview process felt natural, personal, and not overly complicated. I didn't have to go through many rounds of interviews with unrealistic challenges and puzzles, but rather spoke with the HR contact, potential teammates, and was able to share my experiences and ask questions.
I work 10-12 hour days often, especially since my focus area is APAC and China with many early morning and late night calls. I feel as though I sometimes may work longer hours than other peers, and there is no adjustment for these early or late hours during the daytime.
My team works incredibly hard, but at the same time, is also fun, down-to-earth, and makes sure there is time for casual chat and personal life. While it is harder for this come through in a virtual world, I still appreciate the elements that have been put into place to maintain a work life balance.
