Unable to contact customer service when problems resetting password or getting an error message without using a password. Had to resort to posting request for help on Twitter. Then it took 4 emails to correct. Agents didn't read the messages and kept asking for info I previously supplied.

What is the best part about your compensation package at LinkedIn?

Great comp package. Equity is a big part of compensation.
Work environment is awesome. And great teams to work with.
RSUs, you don't have to purchase them like terrible startups in Redwood Shores

There are always employees quitting and there's always hiring to replace them.
Doesn't appear so - attrition remains relatively low.
No more than there has already been turnover.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at LinkedIn?
Fewer meetings
I would keep it the same but more wiggalin with other websites as well
Give all employees some degree of privacy and protection from the constant noise and interruptions of the very open floor plan office layout. There are drop-in rooms people can use to "get away" someplace quiet(ish) for awhile, but people shouldn't always have to go find a quiet place away from their desk in order to be able to concentrate and get work done.

CEO is well respected and appreciated
by telling the truth and understand the webmasters need reconition
Everyone likes our CEO. He is transparent, compassionate and easy to talk to.

Depends on the team, but probably every team expects employees to ramp quickly and hit the ground running as quickly as possible.

What's the work from home policy like at LinkedIn?

There is no official Work from home policy, you just need to talk with your manager for that
I don't know that LinkedIn has a company-wide work from home policy. In effect, the work from home policy is extremely variable, depending somewhat upon the job type and responsibilities and very heavily upon the manager: some managers are very reasonable with work from home from employees who've proven themselves trustworthy to manage themselves and get stuff done, whereas other managers simply don't extend that sort of trust to their employees easily at all. It varies. A lot.

Very humble and helpful

How do you feel about going to work at LinkedIn everyday?

pretty ok. The constant heat coming from clients made it hard to feel good about the products we were selling. Very monopolistic in our sales narrative, so it began to make sense why clients had so much disdain for us.
I truly enjoy the culture and the work I do. I feel like my work is valued appropriately and that I'm working on products that are adding real value to the end users.
Does LinkedIn have any remote positions?
LinkedIn has offices around the world and there is some flexibility to work from home occasionally.

The engineering dept has really good talent and you get to learn from the best in the industry working with them.
The culture and the employee perks really add to your overall experience of working at Linkedin.
How's the work life balance at LinkedIn?
Very balanced and good
Work life balance is great. One of the better places to work at in the bay.

No drug tests as far as I know, but they do a background check

no formal dress code. Just be decent.

Not enough outings for some teams but this seems to be changing
