Take 5 Oil Change: Pencil pushers who never worked on a car should not run a business. A mechanic never works like a baseball player to do your job.

Tenable: A challenge has been to understand how best to deliver across multiple teams. I feel this improves with each iteration and I am becoming a part of a larger company. This took longer than it has at other places I've worked, but the culture contributed to the posibility.

SWCA: I started at SWCA nearly 10 years ago, when leadership was fragmented and the notion was that we were always reorganizing to be bought out. Now, I can't say enough about our culture has improved and "employees first." We have more improvement with pay rates, but we will get there hopefully

Zulily: For the job I actually interviewed and was offered, it was fine. But I got feedback from every interviewer that I am overqualified (which is true) but received zero communication about the jobs that I am actually qualified for. So...hire overqualified people and then they move up or out quickly?
NSWC-Crane: They let you work alone.
Kirby Corporation: Compensation packages very attractive and meaningful to employees with health benefits.
Tenable: Tenable is fast paced and expects great things from its employees. this means responsiveness is highly valued but also rewarded by your peers. The company can struggle with Silos and getting the various teams to interact outside of the emergencies that arise. Communication is great within the teams.
