My compensation increased by $40,000 in 2022, and it should go up by at least another $30,000 in 2023. Plus the health and 401K benefits are the best I have ever seen!

West Elm: the hours are incredibly inflexible, and difficult to get changed, and it's only barely easier to get vacation time approved despite giving us about 5 weeks of paid time off each year. That being said, the job itself isn't that bad, customers are nice, and supervisors give plenty of breathing room.

PKL Services: With the contract not being renewed "yet", the uncertainty about work is very taxing. So my confidence of having a job is not high. The communication with supervision here is terrible. Supervision here shows little to no concern for instructors. The hypocrisy with supervision is blatant.

Service Express: This is a very positive experience overall. An area where the company could improve - vacation time. Unlimited vacation time should be offered to employees. I had this at a previous employer and it was definitely a plus. As long as it is not abused, it's a big positive for company culture.

When I worked at Hoshi back in 2018-2019, before moving away, I loved the people, & being a part of a team, and it feels as though Hoshizaki has only gotten better since I have come back. I am eager to be hired on full-time & be part of the success!
Service Express: I have had a wonderful experience until 2022. I have no direct reporting manager and I feel as though the company is not supporting my team as they once did. With all of the changes to the HR leadership recently, I fear we are losing our culture and heading solely for cash grabbing and sales.

PKL Services: Overall good. Was originally told I could take LWOP the first year so I could build up some time off hours. However that was a lie and was forced to use my time off first. Also the union is a joke and wish i could get out of it. So I would say the company is good but the union makes it worse
PKL Services: I think there should be a benefit pay wise as to the longer tenured enployees and the stock option benefits should be evenly distruibted

Hoshizaki America: When I first started it was ok. Certain people were nice and I learned a lot but as time went on I began to notice who had good work ethics and who doesn't. Things changed for me when I became very ill and was hospitalized due to the overwhelming stress from the job. I've learned to stick to myself.
Hoshizaki America: My experience with this company is one of a see saw and that is up and down. Me as an employee outside of ny check i recieve every week i have had more downs then ups and that speaks volumes to me sometimes i feel like im just a number and expendable

Hoshizaki America: My experience is pretty much neutral. Things has happened there that I totally disagree with and wasn't handle appropriately. I injured my back on the line 7/20/22 I reported it & I was never sent to a doctor or anything. I'm currently working injured. My supervisor does inquire about it though.
Hoshizaki America: It is good company to work for but now that old timers are gone it sort of strange that new people who doesn't have knowledge of the company history is taking over the company and try to do business in their way. Not liking how things are going.
