Lots of interesting ideas, but the cutthroat and aggressive sales culture seems to permeate the company. People are afraid to do anything unless their manager wants it. Most managers seems to have an up or out philosophy and it can make the work overwhelming.

Compensation is really good, because the work is needlessly difficult. They have to pay more to keep people around.

It was fairly simple, I had a couple interviews with the hiring manager and a few peer discussions. It worked pretty well.

The people that live the values of "hungry and humble" are great, but most the time those people are exploited or favored above everyone else. Watched some really nice people get burned out.

They've been trying to grow for so long they've accumilated a large amount of technical and process debt across the company. Things get done through heroic efforts and not through tools and processes. The platform itself is difficult to use without years of expertise; that needs to be fixed.

As a technology company, I would expect better efforts to scale programs internally and externally, but for the most part management just throws more people at the problem, burns them out, and then hires more. For company that wants to make "work better" they don't do it well enough internally.
Che cosa ti rende più felice sul posto di lavoro?
Remote work is good, although most of the teams are still learning how to work remotely. Most managers don't seem to know how to design work well, but on the rare occasion a task is doable without cutting through 3 layers of red tape or getting buy-in from 7 different stakeholders, things get done.
