
It is a very supportive culture. People are constantly praising others for their successes. It isn't a cutthroat environment (at least in Engineering) where people steal ideas or make each other look bad).
Compensation keeping up with inflation would make a huge difference. Being told that you're exceeding expectations but getting a small raise that is less than inflation and nearly identical to the raises as peers on the team not exceeding expectations do not make me feel highly valued.
We made several changes that were successful (team was meeting their commitments and increasing their velocity after said changes) and they have since been reversed to the previous state. Leadership asks us to look for changes for 1% gains, and then vetoes them even with positive results.
