I appreciate the opportunity to work here. If I didn't, I'd leave no feedback at all. I feel management is generally dull & unqualified while still holding power while other managers are people that I'm happy to work under as they will make good, qualified decisions, but it can be a toss up.

They pay me, but their understanding of what is truly going on is abysmal

They pay me around market rate, but we'll see if that's the case after this promotion cycle.

It is work, its not supposed to be exciting (that's why you pay me to be here)

They seem to want to retain employees, of course only because its the logical best way to run the business but it is a business & it's appreciated regardless.

Taking on tasks that need to be done and have a tangible impact rather than doing tasks that feel like checking boxes for the sake of an executive team far away.

Very few people are excited to go to work, that's why we're paid, but with that said I don't dread going to work, so I'd call it a successful enough setup

Some are very dull & I think management has made some decently poor choices of skills & mindsets that are important, but they're good people as a whole so I don't mind too much.

I have people that I'm close with & my group seems to be relatively scandal-less, but I hear about a lot of cases of misogyny, people acting in insane manners behind closed doors, etc.

Unreasonable expectations aren't set and no one seems to take things personally here, so I feel free to be open and honest and take my time doing things right even if they take extra time.

Lots of bad questions, assumptions that learning happens through asking rather than trying. As people, I don't have any problems with anyone but many lazy individuals that would love to shovel things onto other people.

They mostly let me do my own work and trust the decisions I make, though I'm not consulted with nearly enough by the management/executive team, many decisions happen without thinking about the literal execution of things.

The culture reads more like a bacterial culture than anything, but a bunch of the people I work with are reasonable and dont have absurd expectations, its certainly not true in most of the company though

Lots of my coworkers like to blame the things around them for their shortcomings rather than being honest with themselves, though I do agree that many systems here, both technical and personal (training, structure, etc.) are significantly flawed and stunt growth/motivation.

Instead of making bulk payments for inflation in what I believe to be an attempt to fool more financially unaware employees, my employer could be straight forward and compensate employees for the inflation they face by flat rate increases, depending on how deserving they feel the employee is.

Many of them are largely not capable of doing actual work and would rather act like they're capable, I know a decent amount of members of leadership that are truly capable of doing the work that they request & it shows, they know what they want & it transitions incredibly into leading a group.

They exist, but I think many of them do not understand that their employees understand the specifics better than they ever will & that they need to learn to trust and allow the people under them to truly run things. They should be coordinating and giving advice (and not paid as absurdly as they are)

My boss would lose their mind if I left (their words, not mine) & yet their boss went out of their way to refuse me a promotion while not communicating with me at all, both about the promotion process & in my general work despite that fact that most of my work is for them.

They do seem to promote me in order to keep me, but I find that some executives ride largely blind, don't take advice from the people that are actually doing the work, & allow a lot of wasted time. I don't think this is the majority, most put in a lot of effort & at least try to have a solid vision!
