The company's leaders continually strive to be transparent in their communications, regardless of if the news is good or bad. We have monthly Town Halls where a lot of information is shared, and the leaders have individual department meetings to talk to their eployees. They also do a lot of 1x1s.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Don't remove remote work, this is the reason most people stay here. Schaumburg isn't a huge draw and people don't all live close by. Having to commute would cause a ton of people to leave. Do a market analysis and pay people what they are worth

Always having positive and friendly interactions with the team

I like the diversity that Misumi offers. It is very interesting to get to know the culture and traditions through conversations at employee events.

We get paid on time every two weeks and they throw us a donut, occasionally we get a treat or something. If you are on one of the good boy teams that can do no wrong you get all kinds of rewards and constant praise

The people are friendly and respectful. Certain teams are still trying to find their culture. There is no general culture for the entire company, from my perspective.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We need to fix CS, it is terrible and customers are leaving MISUMI in droves. Orders are constantly delayed, poor communication, missed POs. If a customer is trying to give us money for our parts and we can't do that right how can we expect to grow our business? We need to take a serious look at CS.
