I feel since joining Nextdoor that there is a lot of talk about change, but those conversations are siloed to leads and often do not reflect our reality. We're also growing rapidly, but not taking our recently tenured employees and putting them into leadership positions to prove worth/value.

My team is filled with tremendously kind people. They're tremendous to interact with on a daily basis. However, I often feel like certain teammates carry the workload for individual pods of sales teams. In a virtual environment this is becoming more and more true.

I know I am under-paid based on the market value for my type of work. One of Nextdoor's selling points during my interview was that "future equity would outweigh my under-compensation over time". That has not been the case. I was also presented management opportunities that have not been honored.
