Higher pay. Too much responsability for only 16 an hour. I have a second job with less responsability making 23 an hour.

Payment is absolutely pathetic for the amount of ridiculous hoops that we have to jump through in order to do our daily duties. In the end, Academy is going to put the bottom line first and the customer and employee last. It's a directionless company that's doomed to failure.

Give equal treatment to everyone and not have favorites

You need to have someone going to the store and talk to the employees about what's going on there

Undervauled because they are getting rid of people in my department or simply the tasks given are unaccomplishable

Being able to have stock options upon hire not having that

I'm asked to do more than what I can actually do. I'm expected to take a "leader" role and yet I'm not paid the equivalent of this or in this official position. It would be nice to be respected and taken seriously when I raise concern with issues, or establish a boundary I feel I deserve as a person

Phrasing from a memo addressed to the employees during the Covid pandemic comes to mind "More strategic budgeting" Perhaps that should mean a better focus on those that kept the business running during?

Come to find out the co workers that have been working here for a shorter amout of time than me are getting 2 dollars more than i am. So i feel very undervalued

I do just about every single position in the store, have helped out hy doing a managers job and get paid horribly for it

A better pay based on comparable positions at other companies. Team members do all of the work at Academy Sports, while management does nothing to help the company make profits or help customers.

i get paid $12/hr... i can't live off of that... the CEO of this company makes 10x what i do & people like me are why he's rich... every team member in the store should be making AT LEAST $20/hr b/c we all work multiple jobs/departments within the store in a shift

If the insurance didnt cost almost half my paycheck.

My management kept me at part time status while I worked for 6 months at full time. I was denied leave compensation and benefits until corporate stepped in to intervene. I was treated unfairly by management. After I got help from corporate, managers were negative towards me and I am quitting.
