There is respect in the workplace. That is fundamental but not often found.
Open door policy, responsive to emails, don't have weird formalities for leadership (things like needing to be listed in order of 'rank' in emails) a non manager's ideas being accepted and legitimately considered by VPs, willing to listen to good ideas generally speaking. Company not bankrupt again!
Shared vision for improvement, very open to suggestions, not a traditional programming environment and boy is that a plus, everybody seems willing to help up and down the 'ranks', seniority is respected but not paramount, women are given the same opportunities and time as men, good stuff
