
Raises are rare, apart from minuscule annual merit increases. Raises and compensation adjustments must be cleared by a ridiculous number of people and usually require a months long fight to justify the increase. Comp adjustments are also capped by a tiered percentage so associates moving to roles in a higher pay grade can only receive a raise capped out by the respective percentage for the grade difference (10% max) which often results in being paid less than the median of what the new role is worth.
