
The policy was just altered to restrict working remotely. The company has now put a focus on employees coming into the office daily, even if they are in roles that do not require employee or customer interaction (e.g., coders). Previously the policy was at manager-level discretion, but now any remote working is limited to 1-2 days per week and must be approved at the VP and HR level. It is a step backwards and damaging to employee engagement, especially to those that rely on flexible scheduling.
