If this is in regards to our business unit, they empower team members to make decisions. They good leaders but do not micro manage.
We all trust each other to do their part to work towards the common goal of taking care of the customer and both improving our products and growing our company.
When CECO acquired us they put a freeze on salaries that lasted for years. This put me substantially behind in compensation compared to others in my profession. Once merit raises returned they haven't been enough to catch me up. This doesn't affect my performance but I do think about it.
