
There is so little that can be done to compensate for the incredibly poor management. Everyone in my cohort hates their job, managers, work, all of it.
The company isn't private so you don't get equity. It's also not public either so you don't get stock options. A rare few upper management people earn the majority of the money.
The company has so many issues that the good quality employees leave. And all you're left with is the poor performers. And you can't get rid of them either because the good talent just won't stay.
