
Nothing. They are constantly changing people and/or organizational structure. You never know who to contact about issues or questions.
Show they value their employees, even a little. Be proactive about raises, bonuses, etc. Give people a reason to feel pride for their company instead of feeling suffocated and stagnant and leaving.
At least locally we had a good reputation until Intertek started making changes to solely maximize their profit. They stopped paying bills on time, were not quickly responsive to customer concerns, etc. and have driven the perception downward. Jobs we were handed in the past are making us bid now.
The company only worries about the financials and not about creating a positive work environment. The only way to get a raise is to threaten to leave and the company sponsored rewards, meals, awards are non-existent. Give people a little incentive or a reward to show them that they are valued.
