Depends - KP has over 220,000 employees in hundreds of offices doing hundreds of different jobs. Like any other large company, the vibe is heavily influenced by the execs in the org and the staff who show up (e.g., IT is 40% mobile). In IT, it's pretty mellow, with some buildings being very cool and high-tech-like (KP has a large campus in Pleasanton, CA, that was bought from Oracle/PeopleSoft), and others tired and needing updating, so the vibe is a pretty big range.
Depends on individual manager preferences. In my office, there was a no-talking rule. Might have been just me but It was so quiet I could not work at my normal pace.
Big emphasis on the thrive theme... standing desks, walking meetings, healthy snack/food options, pleasant conversations in hallways
Mostly telecommute. Very unfair distribution of offices that favor those higher up.
Depends on function and location
Face paced but insecure
Generally great
Very political.
Sour.
