All management positions to stop thinking about themselves and spend more time getting junior positions to learn and perform. Managers are mentors, coaches, and teachers. Focus on lower level people.
Legacy employees are killing the company. They are stagnant to grow, but they aren't willing to explore a different perspective. Miva is behind on latest tools and functionality other competitors offer, but management level legacy employees are not willing to develop a platform that's helpful.
No leadership is provided except one department. All others are basically a joke. Lead positions don't pay attention to their subordinates and try to focus on their projects. True leaders provide guidance and wisdom to other. None of the management employees are doing that, except one.
My team consists of a bunch of passionate, talented, and driven people. There are others that are very similar to my department, but very a few. Again, lack of leadership skills is costing other departments to fail. There are also unmotivated employees that are focused on playing video games.
