Hold VPs accountable for long term results. Do not stack the deck for them by rewarding them at much higher levels out of proportion to mid level employees.
Unfortunately, my experience has been less than stellar. Politics are thick and overshadow the positive performance by many employees. Also, dedication, honesty and customer satisfaction efforts are not acknowledged or rewarded.
