We always have some meaningful thing to do - if work isn't on the table, we can switch to training, and vice versa. I really appreciate that we have 2 paid hours a day completely dedicated for training, which is great to always keep yourself up with the new knowledge.
We don't actually have a compensation package as everything is included in the salary - this is well communicated at the beginning of the contract so I find this completely fine. Also, leaves are registered at the beginning of the month and you can also book emergent leaves on short notice.
The culture of working 24/7 making work better as there are always someone in a different time zone taking care of what you left off at the end of your shift. This way, work never gets delayed or forgotten, and we also have more chances to communicate with co-workers about things happening at work.
