I've heard of people getting less of a raise when their performance review was "exceeds expectations" vs. "meets expectations" the years before. Lack of transparency in how comp is decided is very troubling. This results in lack of motivation for employees, they are there to make a living after all
I answer phones calls, troubleshoot issues, and handles escalated issues daily.
University is in a bad place financially. Just laid off 160 faculty while adding additional executive level positions.
