Honestly. it varies by department. Since we are talking healthcare, work from home jobs are strictly administrative. So you could be a nurse in an administrative only job and work from home but the vast majority of jobs are on site.

What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining US Department of Veterans Affairs?
How truly horrible that they treat employees. My experience was unbelievable from the first day as the nurse who was assigned to "orient" me believed that I was hired to replace her. She was rude and uninformative throughout my training, that with the bad things she said to other co-workers about me snowballed into a terrible work environment. Even after she admitted that she was wrong to do that to the supervisor, the time I spent there was the worst job experience I have had.

The most junior guy on my team is me and I've been working here 5 years. The next guy has been here 10 years and it just goes up from there.
