While I'm happier on lower campus than I was up at the School of Medicine, I am happy to have had both the jobs I've had at the U.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The campus community in my College really cares about one another. Everyone genuinely enjoys working together.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We're all super nice and understanding, no one is afraid to speak up about making changes.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The UofU generally underpays people. However the benefits are amazing and make up a lot for it.

What makes you most happy at work?

Knowing I'll be greeted happily and appreciated for my work in a genuine way. Fake appreciation ticks me off, so it's nice for something real.

What did you like most about the interview process?

They were supportive and hoped I would do well, which helped me relax and was able to interview better than if they were really stiff.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

No one micromanages us. We're able to work and ask for help and get help when we need it, but otherwise are trusted to be left alone.
