Overall, leadership at Aura is very transparent, approachable, and allows for open communication. They have a very hands-off style, entrusting their employees to be knowledgeable in their roles at the company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I work with a bunch of like-minded individuals who are dedicated to their field and keep everything extremely professional. I never have any issues with approaching them with new ideas and receiving their feedback.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love that I am trusted to work at my own pace and feel like I have a purpose. I have never felt more excited to grow in my career than I have working for Aura!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
At Aura I feel like I am financially compensated for my experience in the field from the moment I was hired on to the team. The medical benefits here are some of the best I've seen at any previous corporation where I was employed.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I loved that I didn't feel like I was being "quizzed." The interview process was very conversational with each round. Naturally, each manager wanted to gauge my skills, but it didn't feel like I was put on the spot or graded like I have previously. I was updated in a timely manner the whole process.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
What I loved about Aura from the day I was hired is their inclusivity. Being a female in IT for over 11 years, there has always a dynamic issue, but I do not experience that from anyone at this company. Everyone is extremely accepting, and because of that I feel like I finally have a voice.
