The company has been making a lot of effort to improve DEI. It's been shown through pay increases and talks about their efforts every quarter to let employees know about the upcoming changes. My coworkers are enthusiastic and smart. Every one of them provides great insight.

I greatly value being able to constantly learn. I feel supported and encouraged to learn in more than what I need to know for my job.

There is an overall company interest in getting to know each other and to celebrate together. There is almost always great attendance at the events the company coordinates.

I solve challenging problems. It's great to be able to bounce my ideas off my peers and to tell them my thoughts and get guidance on what I'm unsure of.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People are sincere. If there is a problem we work together. Questions are welcome and there really are no stupid questions. It's been a great learning experience for a junior engineer like myself.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
When there is a problem, leadership looks to how to solve the problem rather than look for who is to blame. It's very conducive to creating a place to learn and to take ambitious risks.

I've really enjoyed the "Chats with leadership" program we started. I'm able to find out more about our leaders and what is currently their goals for the company and what it is that they care about.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People like to get to know each other and talk about interesting things that are outside of work. It's very easy to talk to my peers. I'm treated with respect and kindness by those in my sub team and beyond.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most of the people who work at Carbon are very happy to be here. I believe that most people come to work excited to work on their projects and understand to some degree how their work is making an impact.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The managers I've worked with here are some of the most approachable and interesting people I've met. They might be busy, but they take the time and effort to know what it is that you're working on and to find out how they can support you.
