McDonald's and Taco Bell pay more. Believe me, you do work hard for this company. Then some kid will walk in the door wit an application and you'll overhear that the starting pay is $2 more than what you are receiving after 2 yrs with no call ins and plenty of covering others. That's really shitty

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Being paid for the work I do. McDonald's pays more to teenagers than I get at twice their age. Definitely have to have a 2nd job
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
100% undervalued and under paid. Again when you have worked for a company twice, busted your butt, covering shifts, doing overnights, appointed temp. Lead multiple times, no call is and very flexible then some 16/17 yr old hands in an app., you hear the start pay is $2 more than what you get. WOW
