I like my job here. It's quite fulfilling. I got enough autonomy for my work. I do wish our design can be bigger, and there's better way to communicate the value of design/user experience to the other parts of the company. Also, I wish the leadership can help form better communication between teams.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is so nice, and willing to help. And generally, people are pretty good at replying on slack.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to work on such socially impactful product, I know my work can help a lot of people.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Getting a good salary while I'm working remotely from Canada. Although we don't have a plan for annual performance review or salary adjustment.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I get a lot of autonomy from my work. I can work at my own pace, and my manager is pretty helpful in giving feedback.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem to like to hear people's feedback, the ask-exec-team is pretty a good place to reach them. But at the same time, I feel like they can be slow to act on the feedback. They would respond on the slack, but the action can be slow and I get we are a big company now, so it can take times.
