I feel that success within the company depends on your ability to advocate for yourself. Not all supervisors/managers see that capabilities of their employees. I am lucky to now work in a team where my work and mind are recognized and valued. That was not always the case.

The freedom to create and implement processes that I believe help other teams.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
That they have the All-Hands meeting for visibility on what their goals are and where we stand as a company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love that we are trusted to work independently. We have room to be creative and tackle on projects how we see fit. I like that our jobs do not rely and other folks.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel undervalued as an employee, but when first hired, I do not think that my prior work experience was taken into consideration. I feel that my skills could have been honed into a lot more, and that payment could have been negotiated. I worked alongside people with less experience, same pay
