Overall my experience at Grindr has been one of the most fulfilling career choices I have made. What makes it all worth while is working for a company that is a huge supporter of the LGBTQ community and provides a platform for them to have a voice. Moreover, the culture of the company is amazing!!!!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The ability to be your true authentic self with no judgement what so ever. Also, the group of humans that work at Grindr are so welcoming, fun, collaborative and respectful.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love what I do and I love doing it for a company like Grindr. The executive team goes out of their way to let teams know that they are valued and appreciated.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Grindr's leadership team is empathic, caring and welcoming. One of the best things about working at Grindr is the transparency we receive from the executive team. I value working for a company that welcomes feedback, collaboration and autonomy.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is truly wonderful, I tend to feel valued, supported and trusted. In addition, I love having the feeling that if I ever need help with something I have a wonderful group of people that are always happy to help.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel my compensation is a bit below market for my industry. One of the reasons I love Grindr is the wonderful culture however, it would be great if the salary ranges were adjusted to keep up with the market and current inflation we are experiencing across the country.
