Hallcon is worse than i could have ever imagined. Why is no (1) health care (2) why is there no pension plan. Other companys have these so where does this money go. My guess into the pockets of a few at the top. Disgusting to say the least. Management never want to talk to regular employees at all.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is no compensation. They have a paltry night bonus & weekend bonus of $1.00/hr.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Interviewers could quit talking about themselves and how great they are. It is truly sickening.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
No leadership. Management is pretty well none existant. Senior employees steal trips from new, unsuspecting employees
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Be honest for starters. You say to keep feedback positive. If a person is being honest then that is impossible!
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
To start with they could go back to making it a requirement to have a class 4 license instead of going with class 5. Now they can just stand on the corner and hire people which is what appears to be happening.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Be honest! Hallcon lies to employees all the time. They keep saying they are hiring because of increased business. That is the biggest lie they tell. Also talk about their training & safety program. Another joke. One driver was seen parked under crossarm at xing!
