Ton of change at a very fast pace. Team has doubled - no idea of what some of my teammates do; don't have time to find out. Marketing has had to implement multiple half-baked, yet highly visible initiatives (MDL launch, Cloud Accelerator Roadshow, & Data Unlocked) - constant state of chaos.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem to value transparency and welcome feedback.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Current base salary is less than what is offered for someone at my level in my market. PTO/Holidays favor EMEA/ROW.
What makes you most happy at work?
Actually getting something done. Unfortunately, I have so many meetings each day that I end up having to work in the evenings or on the weekends to accomplish anything. And that makes me resentful .
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It would be helpful if the CMO and rest of the Marketing Leadership Team had a more realistic view of Matillion's culture and stopped trying to force Microsoft/big company practices on the marketing team and broader organization.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The core team was great - fun people who genuinely enjoyed each other. However, in the last month, the team has almost doubled and I don't know a good number of the people on my team or what they do.
