What makes you most happy at work?
Autonomy, Mastry, and Purpose. I enjoy being able to work holistically and interact with multiple BU's with the goal of improving the customer experience.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Conflicting strategies and KPI's lead to backtracking and change in direction of projects midstream. Ownership of business processes is unclear leading to double work. A positive customer experience is defined differently across BU's, and sometimes the CX is missed completely.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Mr. Ashida is a compassionate and down to earth leader. Despite having to run our entire business, he always shows that he cares and is willing to listen to each employee to understand what matters, what Misumi is doing well, or where we can improve.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My direct manager is supportive of both personal and professional goals, and does a good job explaining the goals of our department. From a top down perspective, it is difficult to see the holistic alignment of strategies across all business units. These strategies sometimes conflict with others.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I enjoy the ability to work remote and be paid fairly for my contributions to the company. There is a high level of trust by my direct manager to contribute at a high level, and I am given leeway to accomplish this along with leadership input regarding direction and priority.
