My experience overall has been good. I enjoy the people I work with, but most importantly I do not feel like there is a lot of longevity here since promotions are very few and far between and career paths don't feel valued by upper management.

I've had a very positive experience working at Nextdoor! I've been promoted and had opportunities to switch teams to start a new role that I felt fit much more with my career aspirations. I love the people I work with and my manager and feel lucky a lot of my coworkers are more than just coworkers!

I've had a lot of great opportunities to hone new skills, be proud of a company I work for and also work cross-functionally to better contribute to our product. We work with a lot of great people that make working here fun.

More transparency about promotions and pay raises and actual career paths for people to strive towards

Keeping up with inflation and more opportunities for growth and transparency about salaries across each department and each level.

The leadership team believes in transparency and takes active steps to ensure we have a clear, cohesive message we bring to market.

I love my team dearly! Everyone is smart, insightful and wants to be a great team player and help out when needed.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
More frequent raises/promotion opportunities. It can be years before a promotion and there is sometimes lack of transparency why or confirmation what we are making is actually how much we should be getting paid.
