Once had high hopes. Not as much anymore as feeling that things have drastically changed. Business model makes me feel like we're playing a game of Bait & Switch with our clients by filling teams with new/inexperienced staff.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
All the quality people in the trenches working shoulder to shoulder toward excellence (which it taken for granted).
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Need more experienced staff. Need leadership that doesn't just bow and bend to every client request and have it be completed without additional contract/compensation by the already overworked team.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Understanding that the worker bees are at critical mass and that in order to retain them and their excellent work they are going to have make substantial inroads into work bee requests and happiness. And not say 'we're working on it' but instead Make it Happen!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Seems the Nordic Business Model is to bring in and train vs appreciate and compensate for knowledge & yrs of experience. Makes people wonder when the ax will fall for them. Last raise cycle was disappointing and pretty sure new to the industry folks got higher percentages diminishing uppers.
