It is a GREAT place to work, the benefits are amazing. Managers (most of them) are very competent and compassionate. The only downside is that often it appears that promotions do not appear to be evaluated on how much a person knows and works but rather on seniority and comradery with management.

We all understand the company mission and collaborate towards the improvement of our lab. Everyone follows the testing standards but also suggest improvements.

They listen to my ideas and hold me accountable for my work. They do not take shortcuts when it is convenient to them but inconvenient to the company.

Compensation should be based on how much you improve the company, not just that you can do your job okay and do nothing to help the rest of the company.

They follow procedures and standards. If a problem is found they do not sweep it under the rug, they are transparent in communication. Willing to follow company policies but also adjust the workflow when needed.
