Sometimes it is very rewarding and sometimes it is just a terrible day. There are a lot of customers who actually look for me specifically because they don't want to go through anyone else's line to check out.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The experience that I had with the front end manager was very positive.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Just lack of communication. Nobody ever tells anybody about changes or what is coming.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
We have gotten new managers within the last two months and I really don't like the leadership team at all.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We have a retirement package and we are also union. There is also a pension package for when I do retire.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all stay to ourselves and try to stay positive when we have to deal with the customers. Customers can be very rude and just absolutely hateful at times. I try to just ignore it,
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Since they took our previous store manager away, things are not the same. Nobody wants to really talk and we can't really talk. It's all about business now We can't have any fun anymore when we are at work. We have to keep on working to get our jobs done.
