I feel like my work matters, and that by doing it I will be able to leave people better than I found them.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people I work with are talented, intelligent, fun, highly passionate people who do amazing work and drive the mission of our company forward every day.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My base salary started low so it is difficult with minimal incremental increases to get it to where it should be. Equity given for performance and tenure would also make me feel better about compensation.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone has a voice. All opinions are valued. We don't do things at sweetgreen just because that's the way we have always done them. You are allowed to take risks and fail. Feedback is welcome and expected. The company believes in its core values and makes decisions based on those.
