It would be helpful to identify thoughtful and clear communication, establish clear direction, identify prioritization that aligns cross-functionally, and acknowledging when the team is approaching burnout.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Yes, I've been at sweetgreen for a long time (5 years). I am aware of other manager's salaries and they are MUCH more than what I make. I think it would be fair for me to at least be within the manager salary range (~10K more than I currently make)

compensation is completely arbitrarily determined. the sweetgreen when I started didn't know what they were doing, but now there are many discrepancies in pay bands.

I would appreciate more transparency on compensation company wide so we know what we're working towards here. I also do not feel I'm making as much as I should be currently because I have not been given enough opportunity for growth.

I wouldn't say I feel undervalued. The benefits are there and the compensation is fair, but the workload prevents people for actively make use of some of those benefits.

It's hard to believe but perhaps things are too laissez faire, and we need more discipline. We need stronger leaders and product managers to steer the ship and keep us on course. We need more team and culture building, and more moments to come together, perhaps on a daily basis.
