Textron Systems – I like my team and I like my work. I have a sufficient amount of autonomy in my work. I wouldn't call the tech I work with cutting edge, or even modern, but I do learn new things all the time. Pretty neutral opinion of the company on a whole. | Comparably

What are some of the best things about your team?

Permissive attitudes towards working from home. High achieving without noticeable egos. Good job of distributing interesting work.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Not sure what's meant by leadership team. I'm guessing they don't have much impact on me either way since I don't even know who's on the leadership team.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

It's a predictable corporate job. The bar of expectations for caring about diversity, community, employee welfare, etc. are on the floor, and Textron Systems is able to somewhat clear that bar.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

There's the constant grey morality that our products are directly implicated in the death of civilians around the world. Not really anything to be done, but does keep working here from being a truly fulfilling experience.
