Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Textron is a good company. I really enjoy my work/life balance and the weekends off. i wish the company was more diverse but they are working on that. i also wish we accrued more PTO and accrued it quicker.

Overall good experience and happy to be here. I like what we do and I think we have good intent, but I am concerned that we are too big to compete for small business opps, but too small to adequately staff to pursue the business opps we want to be in. Seems like we don't have the right balance yet

Terrific people to work with! Good benefits and culture. Sometimes pushed to achieve impossible goals, and constantly straining to keep up with business commitments. Very inefficient with layers of policy and approvals on nearly everything. Key resources are overworked and usually unavailable.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We are pushed to catch bigger and bigger fish then play catch up to keep it, limiting our ability to invest in other products. We're significantly understaffed in ES, but talk about how fast we're growing. Stop building the house of cards. Settle down the growth commitment for a period to catch up
