All over the country, the Time’s Up and Me Too movements are spurring tough conversations about women’s treatment in the workplace. But will there be real progress?
When asked that very question, 69% of women and 53% of men said yes, according to the latest reading of an ongoing query by Comparably. More than 500 people across the technology industry participated in the query.

Optimism declines with age
People 18 to 25 were most optimistic that the Time’s Up and Me Too movements would result in progress between men and women in the workplace (70%). The rate declined from there, hitting a low of 32% among those 46 to 50.

From a diversity standpoint, Hispanic and Latino workers were most likely to say they believe there would be progress (80%). Caucasians were least likely to say the same (53%).
