What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team is very approachable and self aware. They solicit employee feedback and act on that feedback frequently.
Approachable, transparent, pretty plain-spoken. It seems like no question is out of bounds. I like knowing what's going on it the company

Lots of new faces at the executive level, but some long time DaySmarters too - a good mix of institutional experience and new blood has kept us moving forward (and fast!)
Very flexible thinkers. Emphasis is on collaboration and accountable decision-making - not a lot of dithering here. Make progress, adjust.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Unlimited PTO, pretty good health/vision/dental, 401K match up to 5% with the company contributing 4%
The overall compensation package is fair. Benefits are great generally speaking, although the dental coverage could be better.
Generous health and dental and 401K, so the basics are covered well and they have affordable options for life insurance and family coverage.

Very good salary and respectable benefits make from an overall vey satisfactory comp plan.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Company allows you to work completely remote if you want to and has occasionally optional in office events. They push you to take time off to relax and recharge. Even though the company is midsize I still know a lot of employees and the executive team personally. Executive team listens to feedback
Everyone is so nice! We treat each other with respect and kindness.
People like to laugh. Work can be stressful and I'd say everybody has a sense of humor, which can make it easier to endure the tough stuff

The culture is pretty laid back given the pace of change within our product lines. Bi-weekly happy hours started recently and that's a good addition to the culture here, which recently included a company-wide shuffleboard championship, NCAA bracket contest and a shelter dog event coming up next week

What did you like most about the interview process?
Its was just about getting to know the team. Talking w/ people you'd be working for and with, and then later people in other departments. I even interviewed with the CEO, and my title didn't really require it, but it was good to get a sense of the whole place - and for them to get a 360 on me, too.

What makes you most happy at work?
The opportunities to learn and grow are endless. I can see a career path for me at DaySmart.
Our customers are real businesses. Getting to know them has been inspirational (I know, but it's true), and delivering real value - stuff that solves problems - is gratifying. They'll dead out tell you how you made their life easier, and that's cool to hear.

We really are helping small business owners and sole proprietorships get business issues under control and MANY of the are really grateful.

What do you like best about your company?
People pull together to solve problems. Some things have popped up and I was pretty impressed with the way that a group from different departments just kinds of formed to handle a pretty sticky situation. Nobody hides, nobody is unapproachable.
