Mr. David L. Waldman has been Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Executive Vice President, Portfolio Manager, & Director at Loomis Sayles & Company, Inc. Mr. Waldman has been the Deputy Chief Investment Officer since May 09, 2013 and serves as its Member of the Board of Directors since July 29, 2015, and previously served as its Director of Quantitative Research Risk Analysis Group since 2007. He is responsible for overseeing the Loomis equity investment teams and research departments including credit research, macro strategies, convertibles & special situations, and quantitative research risk analysis. He joined the firm in 2007. Previously, Mr. Waldman served as a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager in the core fixed income team and the Director of Fixed Income Quantitative Research at Putnam Investment Management, LLC. He has served as a Vice President and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Goldman Sachs and Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Lazard Freres Asset Management. Mr. Waldman served as Vice President and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, L.P. He has vast investment experience. Mr. Waldman holds an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.A. degree in Economics from Stanford University.
