Committment to corporate social responsibilitty and taking care of people both internal and external to the business
Our leadership team is new but I like how they are working hard to balance out our current situation versus our future positioning.
Their open communication is what I appreciate. The CEO and Executive Chairman are always visible, and open about all the successes and challenges our business faces. There is some turnover on the Executive Leadership team recently, and that causes us to worry, but we know our business is healthy.
Down to earth and truly care about our employees and customers.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They should focus more on employee satisfaction and overall growth.
Listening, planning, not overworking the team and throwing them under the bus.
Read the employee surveys especially for marketing. Terrible team to work with.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Wellness benefits and virtual gym
Compensation is better than average with bonuses etc.

Fair pay, great perks and benefits package, and they are always adding new things. We have a Personal Spending Account as part of our benefits that I appreciate, and our RRSP contributions are matched 100% up to 6% of our salary.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The inflation has eaten into any compensation adjustment that happened. My takeaway has not changed, in fact it has reduces
Performance reviews are a popularity contest. Gossip and finger pointing is how someone gets promoted.
What are some of the best things about your team?
most of the team cares for each other and wants to support each other
Team members really do care and are thoughtful about the work that we do.
look out for each other, value the differences, challenge each other
Our team works together when we need to, and independently when we need to. Our manager trusts us to do the work and lets our results speak for themselves.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
More collaberation and communication. They should improve their interpersonal skills
Be respectful. It is not there. Very immature teams to work with.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
executives are accessible and you can reach out to anyone without feeling there's a barrier
The company is working more and more to have a culture that embodies empathy.
The culture is one of sharing and collaboration. We welcome new hires with open arms and we treat existing employees fairly.

Get rid of the people causing turnover.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The process was highly communicative and organized.
The recruiter was open and honest about the role, was genuinely interested in me as a person, and wanted to make sure I was a good fit with my future manager.

Got to meet a variety of leaders at different levels and they were all very open and honest about the hiring process.

I had good conversations with my interviewers, while answering their questions. It didn't really feel like an interview, just a conversation about a number of technical things, with some process discussions in between.

Include only the people that are pertinent to the interview process.

I love advocating for customers.
The autonomy in the work I do, the trust when working from home most of the time, the feeling of helping people with everything we do.
